 Wayne spent his formative years in Blenheim, in the South Island of New Zealand He trained early in his career as a display artist and has painted professionally since 1972, specializing in mainly New Zealand and European subjects. Wayne has won many major New Zealand art awards in this time.
He has studied painting overseas and as a result of these travels, English and French scenes have continued to be a source of inspiration. Wayne's work is highly regarded and held in many collections in New Zealand and around the world
