Artist Profiles » Andrea Beech
 In 1974 she completed a Diploma of Applied Ceramics at Otago Polytech, then lived and worked as a studio potter in Gisborne.
From 1975-87 she explored further study in painting, while travelling and having a family, returning to New Zealand in 1987 where she settled in Havelock North.
Andreas main focus and interest is in oilpainting and she started exhibiting in 1998.
Her work is shown in galleries in Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, and Queenstown.
Prize-winner in the Hawke’s Bay Millennium Art Competition
Finalist in the Telecom Art Awards 2001
Contributor to Hawke’s Bay Review 2003, 2004 and 2005
Artistic Director of Art-Feast 2005, 2006 and 2007
